Bus 161 (D. Parkhurst) will be picking up students approximately 1 hour late this morning due to a mechanical problem.

The water line break at Bradshaw has been corrected. There WILL be school on normal schedule for BES, SRMS, and RVHS on Thursday. Thanks!

Unfortunately the water line break at BES has now interrupted water at the RV and SRMS campus. We will need to release students from RV and SRMS starting at 1:30PM. Please call the school(s) if you need to make arrangements.

Friday, April 12th 2024 is a scheduled PROFESSIONAL LEARNING DAY for staff. Students will not report. Have a great rest of your week!

If your child uses INSTAGRAM, ROBLOCKS, DISCORD, SNAPCHAT, BeReal or livestreams video games - you need to be at our Internet Protect My Child Safety Training for families this week! Big Mama will share info with families. Each family will get a copy of her book "The Boogeyman Exists in Your Child's Back Pocket!"


We have scheduled an early release for STUDENTS on April 8th. The solar eclipse will occur at the end of the school day when children would be on the bus/walking home. For this reason, we have scheduled an early release to ensure children are home in the safety of families before the event.

Southside K-8 12:00PM
Mount View High School (6-12) 11:15AM
Fall River, Kimball, and Welch Elem 12:30PM
No CTC for RVHS / MVHS will have AM CTC Only


Author & speaker Jesse Weinberger will present to students grades 9-6 tomorrow on at Mount View High School and on Tuesday at River View High School for 9-6 (including SRMS & SSK8)
Each grade level will have their own session.
Student presentations will share information with your child on staying safe online.

KIMBALL ELEM
Bus 141 will be dropping students about 30 minutes later than normal this evening on 3/13/24. There is a sub driver on this run and the route is behind about 30 minutes. Thanks and have a great day!

*PreK teachers and assistants will report to the Phx Center for training starting at 830.

The 3rd-6th grade math training for those registered has been moved BACK to the Phx Center tomorrow. The power project is complete and we will be able to now use that larger facility for training. Please be prepared to start promptly at 830. Doors open at 8. Bring a notebook and pen. Thanks!

The MATH TRAINING from WVDE will be held at the Central Office Board Room instead of the Phoenix Center both days of training Feb 14 & 15 PreK-6 grade teachers registered. We will start promptly at 8:30AM. Doors open at 8:00AM. Please arrive early to register and gather materials. Please bring a notebook and pen.


Mount View High School students will operate on a 3 hour delay schedule on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. This is due to a planned power outage for a very short amount of time in the morning by AEP. This is ONLY for Mount View High School. **Mount View High School 6-12 staff will report regular time.


War Cove Head Start Center will be CLOSED on Thursday, February 1, 2024 due to a planned power outage. This ONLY affects the War Cove Head Start Center.
